Participants of the IFCS Council meetingIFCS COUNCIL MEETING IN DALLAS, USA (November 6-9, 2003)

The IFCS Council meeting have been held in Dallas (USA) on the 6th-9th of November 2003. IFCS President Yuri Ostashenko (Russia), IFCS Vice-President Kenneth Tatsch (USA), IFCS Council members Luis Ciurana (Spain) and Lionel Noik (South Africa) and IFCS Secretary General Varvara Bolshakova (Russia) took part in the meeting. Representatives of Canada (Kathy Keats), Japan (Hisato Tanabe) and Sweden (Sven Wergard) were present on the meeting.

The IFCS Council has decided:
1. to hold the 2nd IFCS World Agility Championships on the 7th-9th of May 2004.
2. to grant associated membership to Canada (Agility Association of Canada - AAC) on application of AAC.
3. to consider ways of cooperation with International Rescue-dog Organization (IRO) .

INTERNATIONAL MEETING IN VARBERG, SWEDEN (September 21, 2003)

On the 18th-22nd of September 2003 delegations of Russian Federation (RLC) and Ukraine (UFSD) have visited Sweden on invitation of Swedish Working Dog Association (SBK). The members of the delegations have visited the Swedish Championships of Rescue and Patrol Dogs, which were held in Varberg on these dates. The leaders of RLC, SBK and UFSD have also discussed matters of further co-operation. The parties have signed the letter of intent, which have formulated main directions of co-operation in a sphere of competitions of working dogs. The parties have also outlined plan of joint actions in this sphere.

IFCS COUNCIL DECISION (March 17, 2003)

IFCS Council has made decision, which concerns program and selection of a host country of the 2nd IFCS World Agility Championship 2004, holding of European Championships on Summer Combined Competitions 2003 in Belarus (Minsk) and also revision of the IFCS membership regulations.

Revision of the IFCS membership regulations gives a possibility for cooperation with IFCS for those countries, where national sports cynological organizations are not exist.
